As a budding dietitian, I was lucky to enough to land myself the perfect job working with a wonderful team of like-minded people. My love for food and interest in the way food affects how we are feeling not only made this job the perfect fit but was also what steered me towards studying nutrition and dietetics at University.
There is so much nutrition information available that making changes to your diet can become overwhelming and confusing very quickly. When I finish my studies, I hope to help people make sense of all this information and guide them to feel great and love food!
My role at The Healthy Eating Hub is to support our admin team and to make booking your next appointment easy! You can also meet me at our Harrison location in my other role as a Body Scan Analyst. The Inbody scans are super quick and easy! They give a detailed breakdown of what your body is made up of and with my help, you’ll leave knowing exactly what your results mean and/or how your progress is tracking (much better than stepping on the scales!).

What’s your favourite food?
It’s so hard to choose just one food! I’d probably have to say French toast! Nothing beats going out for brunch and ordering a chai latte and some French toast…yum!
What’s your favourite cooking method?
Slow cooking! Such an easy way to make food in bulk; it makes everything so tender and tasty and your house smells delicious for hours.
How did you become interested in nutrition?
Apart from the fact that I LOVE food, my interest in nutrition evolved after I watched the documentary ‘Supersize Me’ as part of a school program back in the day. I was fascinated by the impact of food on your mood and it is something that has stuck with me ever since.
What’s your superpower?
Turning an omelette into scrambled eggs…….
5 organisation tips that help you eat well:
- Make food in bulk! I keep what I need for the week in the fridge and freeze the rest. I love being able to reheat a homemade meal from the freezer when I’ve got a busy week.
- Always got to the supermarket with a shopping list!
- Plan meals for the week in advance and WRITE it down.
- Keep chopped vegetables (e.g. carrot, cucumber, capsicum) and dip in the fridge for a quick and easy snack.
- Prepare lunch the night before. I know I won’t have time to make a satisfying lunch before I leave for work, so I prepare it the night before to get me out the door quicker.
