Flip learning means that you do the education part of the program in your own time and then when it comes to putting that information into practice, you check in with your nutritionist so you get really clear advice for how the nutrition principles apply to your unique situation and life.
Definition: Flipped-learning is an instructional strategy and a type of blended learning that reverses the traditional learning environment by delivering instructional content, often online, outside of the classroom. It moves activities, including those that may have traditionally been considered homework, into the classroom, when you’re with the teacher.
Step 1: The nutrition education happens online, in your own time. These are the 12+ online modules, listed below. They consist of text, videos, downloadable resources, tools, meal plans and much more!
Step 2: The application of your learning happens with your nutritionist. In your 30 minute sessions, you’ll apply what you’ve learnt to the context of you own life.
THE HEALTHY EATING PATHWAY
Here’s the program you’ll follow for the next 12 months:
It’s a habit building pathway designed to educate and then empower you to take action and apply what you’re learning. The first half of the program focusses on nutrition principles and how they apply to you as an individual and the second half of the program focusses on the behaviour change, the ‘why’ behind your food choices and how to make your new habits stick!
Module 1: Whole Foods
Learn the fundamentals of diet quality and start to ‘unlearn’ all the confusing diet information you’ve heard over the years. You’ll discover the freedom of removing food restriction and create a positive mindset by adding foods in, rather than cutting foods out. We’ll teach you which foods to focus on so you can feel satisfied, nourish and back in control.
Outcome: Build a whole foods habit in 30 days.
Achieve: Feel great as you start to nourish your body from the inside out by adding whole foods in, rather than being restrictive!
Module 2: The Big Picture
Learn how to balance whole foods on your plate and eat the right amount of foods for you and your goals. You’ll get HEAPS of meal inspiration for breakfast, lunch and dinner all personalised with help from your nutritionist.
Outcome: Understand energy balance and how to maintain a healthy weight long term through balanced, filling meals.
Achieve: Learn new skills for building healthy, filling meals that are quick, easy and delicious!
Module 3: Smart Carbs
It’s time to get more detailed with your nutrition. Carbohydrates are the most misunderstood nutrients and this confusion results in lots of stress when it comes to weight management and creating long term healthy eating patterns. We don’t take a low carb or a high carb approach. We take a ‘what’s right for you’ carb approach!
Outcome: Learn the key fundamentals of carbohydrates and more specifically learn WHAT and HOW much carbohydrate YOU need to eat to achieve your goal.
Achieve: Build habits, behaviours and routines that help you consistently eat the right amount of carbohydrate.
Module 4: Powerful Protein
Getting enough protein is a vital part of a healthy diet, especially for weight management. We’ll teach you all about the importance of protein concentration and how you get the best protein bang for your energy buck.
Outcome: Learn the key fundamentals of protein and more specifically learn WHAT and HOW much protein YOU need to eat to achieve your goal.
Achieve: Build habits, behaviours and routines that help you consistently eat the right amount of protein.
Module 5: Vegetable Goals
Vegetables are the cornerstone of a healthy diet. You may know that they’re healthy. You may also think that you eat enough of them. Do you eat them consistently? Only 6% of Australians do so chances are you could work on this habit!
Outcome: Learn how to purchase, store, prepare and cook vegetables so that you can consistently get in the good stuff no matter how busy you are!
Achieve: Experience how good it feels to consistently eat 5 serves of vegetables per day and make it a part of your lifestyle long term.
Module 6: Drinks
If you’ve been struggling with your weight over the years, having a thorough look at your daily ‘drinks’ is probably one of the best things you can do in terms of making some positive long-term changes to your diet.
Outcome: Learn key strategies for drinking enough water every day while you also kick some not so great habits like drinking excess soft drink, alcohol or coffee.

Module 7: Fruit
Nature knew that most of us have a sweet tooth and so… it gave us fruit! Also known as nature’s candy, fruit is not only sweet, it’s highly nutritious! Along side vegetables, fruit is a vital part of a healthy, balanced diet.
Outcome: Learn about the best types of fruit to eat, the right portion sizes for you and how to include them in your day.
Achieve: Develop a daily habit of whole fruit consumption.
Module 8: Healthy Fats
Most people are still confused as to the best sources and types of fat, as well as how much we should be eating, mostly due to lots of conflicting information on the internet. The good news is, it’s not rocket science and there are many ways you can get healthy fats to work for you!
Outcome: Understand fats, the major food sources, the different types of fat, how to include them in your diet and the right portion sizes for you.
Achieve: Build skills for flavouring and adding fats to your meals that not only improve your health, but taste great too!
Module 9: Snacks
Do you like snacking? Do you feel like your snacking habits let you down? Never fear – habit building for healthy snacking is here! Not only will we teach you the key fundamentals of creating a healthy, filling snack, we’ll also help you overcome non-hunger reasons for eating, like boredom, stress, social pressure and more!
Outcome: To learn how to manage sugar cravings and find a healthy balance with your snacks every day.
Achieve: A daily habit of choosing nourishing and filling whole foods and being back in control of your food choices.
Module 10: Mindfulness
It’s becoming increasingly common for us to ignore our hunger and fullness signals unconsciously, as we become more reliant on mindless habits and behaviour – we’re basically running on auto-pilot mode. Learn how to combat decision fatigue, be intentional with your food choices and feel confident in your food choices.
Outcome: Learn how to break out of auto-pilot and make more conscious choices with your foods that align with your current and future needs.
Achieve: Full control and freedom over your food choices, rather than blinding following rules.
Module 11: Re-cap
Talk to any psychologist and they’ll agree that change is tough. Particularly, self-change. This module will show you some key foundational principles of change and how you can put your nutrition knowledge into action more consistently in your life.
Outcome: Understand change more and learn practical actions that you can do right now to make permanent change a reality in your life.
Achieve: Consistency with your nutrition so you can reach your goals, now and for a life time!
Module 12: Lifetime Success
The food environment of the modern day western world is characterised by one word: Excess. There is food everywhere! Your final module is all about social eating and learning to manage your food intake while you still: go to restaurants, eat at cafes, grab takeaway, head to the in-laws for dinner and show up at work morning teas!
Outcome: Learn strategies for maximising nutrient density and minimising energy density when participating in social situations.
Achieve: Feel confident in making food choices that find the balance between promoting good health in your body and enjoying your social life!
